This is, without a doubt, one of the most precious and delightful bakeries in United States. The staff is French, the ambience is French, the pastries are tres francais. I am trying to determine if I can make the 5 hour round trip necessary to make it back to work on time so I can eat here for breakfast everyday. I am absolutely smitten.

Omg! This place is outstanding! It has incredible French cuisine that is so unique and beautifully made. Each dish I have had there is so good! The space itself is small, but there is outdoor and indoor dining. The only downside is that parking can get tight when it's crowded.

I cannot believe this was my first visit. Location is very convenient but parking gets very congested. Even in the dead of winter, all parking spots were taken and it can be a bit tricky to swing around and wait/search. The interior to order pastries/coffees is similar - small and quickly becomes crowded. However, it is worth the hassle. Coffees were just mediocre but the pastries and their savory items were wonderful. I was also a huge fan of all the ready-made and luxury packaged items that they sell. Definitely add this to your list of sweet spots to stop on your way down the Cape

Go. Now. I don't care if it is the middle of a downpour (it is right now; literally a deluge and we drive 35 min anyway). The options are incredible. If you can resist buying more than you want, you're a better person than we are. From the coffee, to the breads, pastry, and desserts there are no bad choices. The staff are busy bc the line is always long, and yet still they are patient. The tiny little space for the display cases is well used and their method for modulating entrance (a stoplight green go/red hold on we are serving other guests) is eccentric and lovely. What are you waiting for? Go! Unless the light is red.

PB used to be a restaurant, but that area of it is currently on hiatus or something. My mother many years ago went once, and Morgan Freeman stopped by shortly after she did. She struck up a conversation and made him laugh with a story about how she just texted her teenage son (me) and friend that she got to see Morgan Freeman at a dinner they they (me and my friend) had been invited to and how we missed out. I'm glad she got to meet one of my favorite actors, but that story was just to have something to say, because I never remember being invited in the first place! But anyway I finally got to visit this place like 12 years later haha Right now they mainly appear to be focused on croissants and beverage items of a high quality. The owner had a Michelin star rated restaurant in Las Vegas, and PB at some point became Zagat rated. Due to its popularity, we were lucky to find a parking space right in front as someone was leaving, but had to wait in line for a bit. There were actually two lines, an express one outside that just provides some beverages and croissants, and the other one that brings you to the inside, I presume to a counter area, for the full menu. I got a quick video of the inside area that seems to be not currently in use but it won't upload here. We were in the main line for a bit where there was an ice bucket of San Benedetto Natural water cans straight from the Italian alps! So that was fun to try. I found it amusing that the main line had large traffic lights at the entrance to let you know when you can enter. I just went for the express line and got a butter croissant, chocolate one, and a couple iced lattes. I don't know much about croissants other than that they're French and I like them, and I tried both of these, and they're probably the best tasting I've had since my actual visit to France over a decade ago. The lattes were smooth and very nice too!

Can't believe this was my first time here, and I've been going down to the cape for a decade! Highly recommend. The stoplight out front to avoid a crowd inside is clever and quirky- love it. The baked goods are huge and delicious. We got a plain croissant, almond creme sable, galette bressane, and a pear danish. All 10/10s (though the danish is the best, imo). We also got a quarter loaf of the farmers boule and finished it the same day (it's the size of the regular loaf at the grocery store). We also got the French Revolution sandwich- delicious, a bit sweet, and the Le Club sandwich, which was just double stacked smoked salmon. I wish it came on a baguette, as the bread feels store-bought (though is described as pain de mie) and the sandwich lacks the well-rounded balance that everything else has. I will note, the express area was closed when we got there, and the line formed out front at 8am ish- so don't expect to be in/out quickly. But PB is perfect for a leisurely breakfast/lunch!

Another famous trip here! Everything is buttery, crispy and just perfect. Of course I had to get the Koughan Ahman which is beyond amazing crispy layers of puff pastry with a little bit of sugar. We tried different types of cookies which were buttery and excellent! The people who work here are so nice and very patient. I look forward to coming here every year! There's nothing like it.

We were recommended to try this place while on the Cape and I am so glad we did! It is a small, unassuming spot but worth the drive! They have a large variety of fresh baked breads, pastries, sandwiches, quiches... everything you could imagine! They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as a bar. I had the raspberry tart and a cappuccino. The tart was not too sweet and the fresh raspberries were perfectly tart and ripe. Both were absolutely incredible! It was so hard to choose what I wanted, because all the pastries looked so amazing. I definitely want to try their eclairs and their quiches next time. Everyone that worked there was so friendly and helpful! Definitely an adorable spot that's food transport you to France.
